Arkyn Studios ApS ("Arkyn," "we") is responsible for the personal data we collect on www.arkyn.io. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and your rights.

What we collect and why

When you contact us or book a demo. We collect what you enter in our forms: name, email address, phone number, company, job title, and your message. We use it to answer your request and follow up on it. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). You don't have to give us this information, but we can't reply without it.

When you sign up for emails. If you agree to receive news and product updates, we use your name and email address to send them. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Every email has an unsubscribe link.

When you browse the site. We use Cookiebot by Usercentrics to manage cookie consent and measure website traffic. Usercentrics uses your IP address to identify the network or company you browse from, then anonymizes the IP address. This shows us which organizations visit our site and which pages they read. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how our website is used (Article 6(1)(f)). If you accept statistics or marketing cookies, we also set the cookies listed in the cookie declaration at the end of this policy. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Usercentrics keeps a record of your cookie choice so we can document it (Article 6(1)(c)).

Who we share data with

We use service providers that process data on our behalf under data processing agreements: Webflow (website hosting and forms), HubSpot (CRM and email), Usercentrics (consent and analytics), and Zendesk (support requests). If you accept marketing cookies, embedded YouTube videos also share data with Google. We don't sell personal data.

Transfers outside the EU

Some of our providers, including HubSpot and Webflow, are based in the US. For these transfers, we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

We delete contact and inquiry data when we have not been in touch with you for 24 months. If you consented to emails, we keep proof of that consent for two years after we last used it. Usercentrics keeps records of cookie choices for one year.

If you use the FastApps

When your employer uses Arkyn's apps, your employer is the data controller for the data you enter in them. Arkyn processes that data on your employer's behalf under a data processing agreement. Contact your employer with questions about this data or to use your rights.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, and delete your data, to restrict or object to our processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect processing that happened before. To use these rights, email support@arkyn.io.

You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) at www.datatilsynet.dk.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our processing changes. The date at the top shows the current version.

The cookie declaration below lists the cookies we use. You can also change or withdraw your consent there at any time.
